OVERVIEW

Your 6 full days of study includes hands-on learning and expert instruction on all of the CISSP's 10 Domains of the Common Body of Knowledge, all 5 Sections of the OSSTMM Security Presence, and the details to successfully complete a BS7799 audit.  Sessions are accentuated with professionals presenting on the real application of security and solutions in the workplace. Breaktimes as well as during breakfast and lunch, you will have time to network with other professionals, meet security experts to discuss and find security solutions for your individual business needs, and learn even more through the successes as well as the failures of others. Finally, through-out the week, to complete this training, you will be provided with the BS7799 Auditor and OSSTMM Professional Security Analyst exams.

REQUIREMENTS

  • This course has been designed for professionals with at least 4 years of experience in the information security field or 3 years of experience and a college degree (or equivalent life experience).

  • While this training will cover all required points of study in depth, all students are encouraged to study previous to this training as well as working with teams and student groups after classes.  Previous ISESTORM events have shown that over 90% of students are able to pass all certification exams during this time period.  

  • The student should be able to understand and communicate in English.


MATERIALS

Materials listed here are the minimum provided for the event. Additional materials will be provided through sponsorships and alliances with ISECOM.

The materials all students will receive for the event are:

  • Associated books, course presentations and studyguides for the OPSA, OPST, CISSP, and BS7799 Auditor.

  • Bound version of the OSSTMM 3.0.

  • All speaker presentations.

  • Practice exams and review tools.

  • Study kit of writing materials, paper, markers, hi-liter, scissors, etc.

 

TRAINING SCHEDULE

It is highly recommend that beyond this schedule you plan time for team interactions, study groups, and exam review both before and during the event. Consider this schedule a guideline only. Teamwork and hands-on interaction is included in each topic listed.
